What To Do When The Grey Days Are Here

The word photography traditionally translates to “painting with light”, meaning quite clearly that light is the most important aspect of the whole process.  Most people have heard of “golden hour”, or perhaps even “blue hour”, when the light is perfect for some outdoor photography.

So, what happens when the grey days are here, when the light is not your friend, and everything is flat and dull?  Do you give up and not bother going out and exploring the world with your camera?  No, of course not.  There’s always something that you can photograph. You just need work at it a little more.
