Adjutant
This rather stern looking bird is known as an Adjutant Stork. I believe it is an Asian Lesser Adjutant Stork. It’s probably a lot friendlier than it looks.

This wonderfully moustachioed bird lives in South America, along the coast of Chile and Peru. It’s a big fan of anchovies.

The Oyster Catcher
Did you know that oystercatchers used to be known as sea-pie birds? That all changed in the mid-19th century when the name oystercatcher became commonly used. Various species live all over the world, but the name is based upon the observed eating habits of a particular North American species, Haematopus palliatus.
