Big Eyed Bird

This is a portrait of a red-necked ostrich. A very large fight less bird, with a very long neck and a pair of large eyes. Essentially everything about the ostrich is big.

What did this image teach me?

Backlighting really helps add an extra element of interest to portraits – just look at all that fuzz glowing around this gentleman’s head!
