Tyrannosaurus Rex is perhaps the most famous of all dinosaurs, but why?
Perhaps it was because it’s one of the largest known carnivores (with a five-foot long skull!), or perhaps it’s because of the name (T-Rex was named as such in 1905). Or perhaps it’s because it’s remains are found in North America (striking an imposing figure at the American Natural History museum)?
Either way, T-Rex is the king of dinosaurs, and likely to stay that way forever – even if some people now want to cover T-Rex in feathers.
