The RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) has been around for a long time. It started in 1889, under the delightful name “The Plummage League” and today they manage approximately 200 nature reserves.
This bird hide panorama comes from Ham Wall, it offers splendid views across the Avalon Marshes, and plenty of opportunities to spot some stunning birds.
I deliberately chose to make this shot a panorama, to show off the all-round views that this hide offers. I didn’t correct the perspective as I quite liked the way the lines in the wood curve. It’s a personal choice.
