  • Red Heart

    Red Heart

This is the centre of a bright red tulip, growing in my garden. What did this image teach me? Tulips don’t hang around for long, in my garden at least! Shortly after I took this photo, all the petals fell off.

  • Red Neck

    Red Neck

This is a red-necked Ostrich, a very large bird indeed. So big in fact that I couldn’t get more than the head and the start of the neck in the shot! Look at all that fuzz! What did this image teach me? Ostrich eggs weigh about the same as two-dozen chicken eggs!

  • Budgie Buddies

    Budgie Buddies

These two birds kept a very close eye on me as I walked by. What did this image teach me? To be more conscious of colour as well as composition.

  • Sunrise Tree Line

    Sunrise Tree Line

Not a bad view to wake up to. What did this image teach me? Sometimes all you have to do is point and shoot, Mother Nature does the rest.
