About

“Photography for me is not looking, it’s feeling. If you can’t feel what you’re looking at, then you’re never going to get others to feel anything when they look at your pictures.”
— DON MCCULLIN

The quote above, from the legendary photography Don McCullin really does some up how I feel about photography. I enjoy capturing the world as I see it, but more importantly I want my images to embody a sense of feeling too – sometimes happy, sometimes sad, sometimes just a little confusing. That’s the point. Each image should make you feel something, even if that’s a sense of “what on earth?!”

My name is Scott and I’ve been taking photos (and posting online) since 2005. In that time, I have learned a huge amount about photography, both the art and science of it. I have a long way to go (every day is a school day), and whilst I may not have as much time any more for wandering around with my camera – I still have a healthy archive of images that I can dust off, edit, and post. So, if you like any of the images you see here, please feel free to leave a comment, I really do appreciate it.

Until next time,

Scott
