Established in 1881, the Natural History Museum is a fine example of high Victorian architecture. Just look at all the intricate elements that have been added. They don’t make buildings like this any more.

Salisbury Gold
There’s something awe inspiring about a cathedral, the sheer size and scale of the open space makes you feel tiny, inadequate, humble. Which is entirely the point, of course. What did this image teach me? That adding a golden hue to a black and white photo can sometimes produce interesting and unexpected results.

Tenth From The Top
I certainly don’t envy the window cleaners that have to keep these huge, mostly glass, skyscrapers clean! What did this image teach me? That height is something for other people… I’m happy with my feet on the ground. Also, there’s a lot of glass used in buildings these days.
