Pumpkin Potions
If you look carefully when exploring the Harry Potter studio tour, you can find these very interesting vials of multicoloured potions. Can you name the scene in the book / film where these potions appear?

The Golden Mask
This is the start of a short run of photos taken at the Harry Potter Studio tour. This is one of the Death Eater masks, presented in a golden light. Pretty sinister, huh?

The Rifleman
Here’s a historical re-enactment character. He was parading around a castle in Wales, several years ago.

Point Your Toes
Pareidolia is about seeing faces in every day objects, but I’m not sure what the word for seeing an entire human being in a plant is! Is it just me or is this plant sticking its arms out and kicking up one leg? No? Maybe it’s just me… and perhaps that’s why I can’t find…

The Colour Poppy
Here’s an alternative version of yesterday’s poppy image, taken at the same (though from a slightly different angle) and this time in full colour.

The Monochrome Poppy
Here’s a close up of a large poppy. I’m always amazed at how intricate the heart of a poppy is.

The Kookaburra
The Kookaburra takes its name from the Wiradjuri people of Australia who call it “guuguubarra” after the sound it makes.

The Sunlit Eagle
What an impressive bird. It was huge!

Falcon Face
This bird of prey was getting so hot on the day I took this shot, that it’s owner was gently washing it with cool water. Surprisingly (to me sr least), the bird seemed to really enjoy it.
Do you like what you see?
