This bird was all puffed up and looking rather serious. Whilst I found this one at Paignton Zoo, they generally live in Africa.
What did this image teach me?
There are something like 175 different species of pigeon known to us, and there are many variations within those species. Also, Dodo’s were a form of pigeon.
