Here’s the sea, with a pole sticking out of it. I think this is a somewhat abstract image – and perhaps has a slight painterly feel?

Four Poles
Ok, I admit that this one is stretching this month’s theme by quite a bit… where’s the liquid here? Well, there is a very thin line of sea water back there behind that fence. So therefore I think I can just about get away with this one….

Three Poles
And now for some abstract architecture – three tall, thin poles on top of a white building. What did this image teach me? That sometimes a simplistic composition can make for an interesting image. At least, I think so.
