This is a rather impressive old cathedral found in the small town of Orvieto, in Italy. It’s a wonderful place, very atmospheric.
I liked the way the shadows played across the bell tower in this shot. This was taken at the small, old church in Burrowbridge.
This is a view of one of the Bath college buildings, taken from within Prior Park (a National Trust landscape garden).
These steps in Hampton Court Palace have seen some history – I wonder how many thousands of people have walked them? And I wonder what Royal decisions were made whilst climbing them?
This is a somewhat unusual angle from which to view Hampton Court Palace – but I liked the silhouetted frame and the brightness of the building behind.
Some more Hampton Court Palace chimneys (tell me if you find two that are identical) – and the union flag flying in the wind.
Another shot from Hampton Court Palace, this is a rather decorative arrow slit in the side of the building.
