Caught in the Act

This squirrel was definitely up to no good, I mean just look at how shifty it is! It took a while to realise that I was there, but as soon as it recognised my presence it vanished into the undergrowth.

What did this image teach me?

Sometimes your hands need to be quicker than your brain, to capture the shot. I composed and took this shot before really having a chance to think about what I was doing.

    Good at last wild life photography. Still haven’t got over the heron walking on the avon lock side in september . that was superb.

      Thank you. I’m afraid that’s it for wildlife (for a little while), but I’m sure some more will appear eventually. And thank you, I have never seen a heron be so bold!
