Having turned at Bradford-on-Avon, we take our hired narrowboat back up through the locks at Caen Hill, including the famous 16-lock flight (the longest lock flight in England). We journey most of the way in tandem, with another group of holidaymakers which makes operating all of those locks that bit easier (so thank you, whoever you are!) We end the day all a bit tired (especially Jerry), but very much looking forward to what’s next.
