Photography comes in many flavours: landscape, nature, sports, astro, portrait, etc… and it would be foolish for anyone to think that if you’re strong in one type of photography that you’ll be strong in all the rest.
I am very much an outdoor photographer, nature, scenery, flowers, wildlife, that kind of thing. But I do have an interest in portraiture.
I am also lucky enough to have some lights, and a backdrop, and a willing model – so it’s about time I put all these things together, right?
You can only improve a skill if you practice.
Here then is a set of practice portraits (credit must go to my very patient and willing wife!)…
