The Dark Tree
I really enjoy black and white photography, I think the absence of colour allows the image to focus on other things – contrasts between dark and light, textures, composition. This tree, found upon the hill at Burrow Mump was ideally placed against a bright sky.

The Duomo of Florence
Looming large over the whole of beautiful Florence in Italy, is the Duomo. Designed by Filippo Brunelleschi, the enormous dome was added to the cathedral in the 15th century, almost two centuries after initial construction began.

A (but not THE) David
This is a replica of Michaelangelo’s David, on display in the car park overlooking the beautiful and very picturesque city of Florence in Italy. There are several David statues scattered around the city, amongst the many, many, many other statues that you can find there.

Walk To The Water
This jetty sits upon the sandy beach at Lido di Jesolo, in north east Italy. I ventured out in the early hours of the morning to explore, and came across this scene that was too good to ignore.

Aaaah Venice! What a fantastic and fantastical city, where roads are replaced by waterways and around every other corner there’s an interesting tower or bridge.
