This Chilean Flamingo lives in Paignton Zoo, and thanks to the easing of the Covid-19 lockdown measures Zoos will be able to re-open again from the 15th of June. I cannot wait to revisit this place, it’s one of my favourite locations for animal photography, so many interesting species (and all well looked after).
What did this image teach me?
The very first flamingo ever hatched in a European zoo was a Chilean Flamingo, all the way back in 1958!
