And so we bring this journey to a close. We’ve had a great week, both relaxing and memorable.
Our final day of travelling brought us back to Oxford, where we spent the afternoon walking around the busy, historic city.
Given there’s been a university of sorts here for over a thousand years, the place is unsurprisingly overrun with students.
Still, I did enjoy looking at some of the old buildings and would definitely come back again. I’m not sure the Captain or Security Officer were so keen. I’ve yet to find out what the Sea Cadet made of it.
Anyway, we picked up some vittles and grog and headed back to the boat, to settle in for one last night aboard.
