The small city of Wells in Somerset, England is famous for a few things – the elegant Cathedral, the fact that Egdar Wright filmed Hot Fuzz there, and perhaps that when they get hungry the swans of Wells ring on this little bell to demand attention.
What did this image teach me?
Swans have been taught to ring these bells at the Bishop’s Palace in Wells since around the mid 1800s.
