The Window, the Chair, and the Curtain

I wouldn’t say I particularly have a distinctive and consistent photography style – but I do like black and white images, playing with the texture, shape, and the way light interacts with subjects fascinates me.

What did this image teach me?

Two things really – firstly, there are often interesting compositions to be found in unexpected places, and secondly to work fast if you want to get a shot without people in it… a split second later this room was full of guests.
