In researching what to say ahead of this image, I discovered that horses have around 205 bones in their body, as a species they’ve been domesticated for around 5,000 years (domestication of wolves, by comparison started some 15,000 years ago), and that the fastest horse ever recorded reached a speed of 55mph!

What did this image teach me?
That black and white animal portraits are still some of my favourite types of photo to shoot, edit, and enjoy.
