Snow White Water

Another shot from over 10 years ago, this time of a canal lined on either side by snow, whilst the low winter sun gives a golden hue to the trees.

And so this image brings this year on Needlemind to a close. Thank you ALL so much for following along as I’ve posted at least one new photo a day for the whole year. No repeats, no previously published. All new. It has been a fun experience, though quite a challenge at times (especially in this year of all years – the pandemic and various lockdowns has definitely made it difficult to get out and about with the camera).

So, what’s in store for 2021? Well, you’ll have to tune in tomorrow to find out…

What did this image teach me?

That setting yourself challenges, especially ones that seem to be almost impossible when you start, can be a very rewarding way to stretch yourself creatively, and that I am truly grateful for every view, like, comment, and share that has gone on this year. Thank you, everyone! Here’s to a more “normal” 2021.
