bwrrrr !
On the weather forecast last night Alex Beresford explained why the winter gives much clearer images of sunsets and sunrises and I guess apart from the expert photography that clear images in the middle of the day are due to the same factors.
In winter the air has fewer particles in it especially when it is coming down from the arctic, so images of the sky are much sharper.
That’s very sound advice.
