This ruined Aberdeenshire castle overlooks the North Sea. The main part of the castle was built over 500 years ago, though it’s deterioration into a ruin only really start in the 1920s, when the roof was removed for tax purposes.
There was a plan to restore the castle, but this has been on hold for the last 12 years.
